2023 Handgun Line up

My 2023 hunting handgun lineup is set. I have been practicing since last season ended.

The guns:

Korth Mongoose 44 Magnum with Trijicon SRO 1moa and Hogue Big Butt Grips. Barnes 200 xpb.

S&W 460 PC. Ultradot Gen 2 30mm 2moa. EGW rings. Hogue custom shop Big Butt grips. Cutting edge 240.

Custom xp100 14.5” 308 winchester. Micro bastard brake. Trijicon credo 3-9. Leupold back country rings. Egw base. 130 Cutting edge.

The plan is to run the Korth for mule deer and I am comfortable to 150 yards in a stable shooting position.

I have great confidence in the 460 out to 200 yards and it hits like a sledge hammer. I plan to use this hand cannon for most of my elk tags.

The 308 xp100 is a just in case setup. It’s for when I can’t stalk close enough. It will more than likely be used at some point during elk season. My drops are confirmed to 500 yards for this set up.

Once the season gets rolling and meat hits the ground detailed write ups will be made detailing how the gun and I perform and what these mono bullets do to the critter. I am also attempting to self film a good bit of my hunting this year with a GoPro.

I am here with a pocket full of tags to document.
