Hunting TN since I am not going to be able to take off on a long trip this year. I am planning on taking 20 to 25 deer this year and will rotate around 30 handguns and more is time allows. I am especially excited about carrying some of my pre-war guns this year. The 1931 38-44 Micro-Sight custom is a tack driver. I am planning on using one of Al Goerg’s original hollow pointers on the bullets for that gun. Actually I am putting together a vintage hunt. Vintage gun, copying vintage loads from Elmer and Al Goerg, and who knows what else. I even tracked down some hunter orange in great shape made in the 1950s and 60s.

I’ll be duplicating the .44 Special loads Elmer loaded for his Dr. friend that killed elk, moose, brown bear, sheep and caribou plus a host of African game. He used a 6 1/2″ 2nd model hand ejector and I happen to have one like it along with the Lawrence holster like he used. After reading that Elmer experimented with the Wonder -Sight I installed on on the 2nd model HE.
