Handgun Hunting Afield

After wrapping up Handgun Hunter’s Competition I needed a touch of R&R.

I packed into the high country for a solid day of rock chuck shooting. To sum it up it was amazing.

I made camp at 7000 feet and set up my glassing chair……chucks were everywhere! I’m going to let the pictures tell the rest of the story……

The gun used was a Magnum Research 44 mag with 4x leupold cds and 240 xtp bullet.

Chucks ranges were from 35 yards to 275 yards…..and yes one was a double!

Over 60 chucks were taken💥💥
